Fans of classic point-and-click games can now look forward to the upcoming release of “The Amerzone: The Explorer’s Legacy,” a remake by Microids of Benoît Sokal’s game, scheduled for April 24th. Players have the opportunity to preview the game through a playable demo available on PS5 and Xbox Series, allowing them to experience what Microids Studio Paris has developed over the years to rejuvenate this classic title. Additionally, any progress made in the demo will carry over to the full version upon release. While technical elements have been updated, the core gameplay remains true to its origins. The narrative also stays intact, with players taking on the role of a journalist navigating an enigmatic world featuring distant lighthouses, white birds, and hydraflots. The game is set to be released on April 24, 2025.
