There is only one week left before the highly anticipated release of Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, and the excitement surrounding the game continues to grow daily. The Czech studio Warhorse, along with publisher Deep Silver, are aware of this enthusiasm and are working diligently to ensure that no obstacles hinder its potential success, aiming for a smooth launch on February 4th. In an email sent to all press outlets, Deep Silver announced that the French dub is being re-recorded due to negative feedback from journalists in recent previews. Some passages lacked conviction, and there were issues with lip-sync in relation to character movements. While this news is appreciated by fans, patience will be required as the script for Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 totals 1.7 million words—equivalent to an 8,500-page novel. Consequently, re-recording everything will take time, but Deep Silver stated that a portion of this revised French version will be available at the game’s launch on February 4th, with the rest arriving in a March 2025 update.
A few days prior, Warhorse Studios communicated details about their planned post-launch content roadmap, indicating they have several updates scheduled to keep players engaged over the next several months. According to this plan, the first update is set for spring and will include features such as a barber service (for grooming), a Hardcore mode, and horse races. Following this, three more substantial expansions are anticipated in summer, fall, and winter, respectively, each adding new missions and extensive additional dialogue.
To conclude, a new CGI trailer was presented, showcasing Henry in various scenarios. Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 is scheduled for release on February 4, 2025, available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X.
