Endless Legends will have a sequel, marking Amplitude Studios’ debut as a publisher following the French company’s independence in November 2024 after parting ways with SEGA. Endless Legends 2 is set to enter Early Access by 2025, and its unveiling featured an initial trailer created using the game engine that did not include any gameplay images. However, it was revealed that this sequel takes place on Saiadha, an unusual oceanic world where seasons are constantly changing and massive waterfalls significantly alter the landscape. Players will only be able to explore certain areas and discover hidden secrets when the water recedes.
From a gameplay perspective, it is announced that players will be able to choose among several factions (four initially at the launch of Early Access, with two more to be added later), each with its own philosophy, strengths, and playstyle. The game features asymmetrical gameplay to ensure varied game sessions. Further information will follow, but patience is required.
