During the Game Awards, there were some unexpected announcements, and Project Century stands out among them. This is the codename for a new game from Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, which bears strong resemblance to Judgment set in the 1910s. Previously, before it was named Judgment, the game was referred to as Project Judge in 2018. Several similarities can be observed, including character design, combat style, and the studio’s typical approach. There are also parallels with the Like a Dragon series; however, given that Yakuza Ishin has already explored feudal Japan within this franchise, it is unlikely that Project Century pertains to such settings. As they say, time will tell.
