Since last summer, we have not received any updates on Mafia The Old Country until it was shown again during the Game Awards ceremony. This presentation offered us a glimpse of a return to its roots with a narrative set in early 20th century Sicily. Developers are emphasizing a story-driven game featuring numerous well-developed characters deeply embedded in the harsh world of organized crime. Players will assume the role of Enzo, who joins Don Torrisi’s criminal family to improve his life by swearing an oath to uphold their code of honor, complete with its responsibilities and limitations. The Family requires sacrifices, a point Enzo must always remember. Although the new video effectively captures this gangster ambiance, there is not much concrete information about gameplay features. Nonetheless, Mafia The Old Country is scheduled for release on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series in summer 2025, developed using Unreal Engine 5.
