The Taiwan Digital Game Rating Committee has listed the game under the title “Death Note: Killer Within” for release on PS5 and PS4, although no specific release date has been provided. This is not the first time the name “Death Note: Killer Within” has appeared online; it was also listed in the EUTM’s product commercialization registers in June 2023, indicating items intended for marketing in Europe. Given that Bandai Namco Entertainment is cited as the publisher and considering the recent trend of revisiting manga/anime adaptations from the 2000s for nostalgic reasons, it makes sense to see Death Note return in this format.
