Perhaps one of the less groundbreaking entries in the Legend of Zelda series, “The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom” at least aims to shake things up within a franchise that has traditionally centered around Link. While Link remains the courageous knight willing to sacrifice his life for Hyrule and its princess, he is absent from this installment, with Princess Zelda taking on the responsibility of saving her kingdom and Link as well. However, instead of wielding a sword or shield, she possesses a magical staff that enables her to duplicate objects, move them if necessary, and create decoys. More thought-oriented than action-packed, “The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom” is anticipated for release on September 26th.
