This was the first ‘World Premiere’ at the Summer Games Fest 2024 launched by Geoff Keighley; however, LEGO Horizon Adventures was leaked last month by someone who did not realize it was a video game. This was confirmed a few hours later by Tom Henderson, who inadvertently revealed this announcement as part of his keynote presentation. Co-developed by Guerrilla Games and Studio Gobo, LEGO Horizon Adventures will allow players to revisit the games that TT Games produced for decades before the trend of LEGO games declined. Although it is a spin-off that does not retell events related to Zero Dawn or Forbidden West, the game will feature all elements associated with this unique universe.
Surprisingly, while LEGO Horizon Adventures is expected to release on PS5 and PC, it has also been confirmed that a version for Nintendo Switch is in development and will be released simultaneously with the other versions. We are unsure whether this demand comes specifically from LEGO (likely), but it is evident that Nintendo’s audience appears to be receptive to LEGO games. Regardless of whether it is Sony or Microsoft, when aiming to maximize sales, exclusivity barriers tend to diminish. The release of LEGO Horizon Adventures is scheduled for the end of the year.
