This year’s Summer Games Fest highlights a significant presence from SNK. Following the announcement that Terry Bogard and Mai Shiranui will join Street Fighter 6 as DLC characters, Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is set to be the main attraction at Geoff Keighley’s event, replacing E3. The game includes a brief introduction to recall the origins of the Garou Densetsu series in arcade halls. SNK then reveals two new fighters who will be available at launch, scheduled for early 2025. One of these characters is B. Jenet, well-known to fans of Garou Mark of the Wolves, who recently appeared in the KOF XV Garou team just two years ago. Her return is anticipated and expected to raise excitement levels among players.
As for the second protagonist, he is a newcomer named Vox Reaper, a street assassin regarded as a demon, who is tasked with hunting and eliminating Kain R. Heinlein. Despite his efforts, Vox’s attempt ultimately fails. Consequently, it is Grant, Kain’s bodyguard, who takes him under his wing to transform him into an instrument capable of navigating all of South Town in search of his next target.
