While TopSpin 2K5 is introducing friend matchmaking features and continues to address its bugs, TieBreak has announced its release date set for August 22, 2024. This means that when the game launches, Nacon and Big Ant Studios’ title will have been in Early Access for eight months. We hope the Australian studio successfully addresses the errors and gameplay issues highlighted by the community, as there is still work to be done to match TopSpin 2K25 in terms of feel. In the meantime, TieBreak can rely on its official licenses and the inclusion of 120 professional players (both male and female) at launch. The Big Four tennis stars—Federer, Nadal, Djokovic, and Murray—are present, along with new faces from the global tennis scene. Additionally, a career mode based on Djokovic’s career is announced, allowing players to relive his best moments. TieBreak is therefore anticipated this summer for PC, PS5, Xbox Series, PS4, and Xbox One. A Nintendo Switch version is also planned for later in the year.
