This is today’s noteworthy announcement: the unveiling of the final name for the next Assassin’s Creed, formerly referred to as Codename Red just a few hours ago. The title has been decided and thus “Shadows,” in plural form, will be included since this installment in Japan enables players to embody two characters, according to rumors, namely a male and a female character. Each will have distinct gameplay mechanics: the male protagonist is described as an unafraid warrior, while the younger female character offers a stealth-based experience with enhanced agility and aerial capabilities. An intriguing detail is that the male samurai’s design is based on Yasuke, the historical African samurai. The suspense surrounding this release ends on May 15th at 6 PM via Ubisoft’s YouTube channel.
