The final sprint is underway for Microids and Tintin Reporter: The Cigars of Pharaoh, with the game’s release date now just days away. A new trailer has been released to remind audiences and announce that Hergé’s character is returning to video games after a 12-year absence. The previous game, developed by Ubisoft, was not very convincing. This time, Pendulo Studios has been tasked with reigniting interest in the character through gameplay variations that include exploration, investigation, and action elements. Tintin Reporter: The Cigars of Pharaoh promises an immersive experience based on the comic strip, as well as extensions featuring unseen sequences. Microids also uses this opportunity to announce details of a collector’s edition release.
