The spotlight is on Jak and his team as they bicker over the Binding Stone—a powerful artifact that was meant to be destroyed by Jak. Game play remains at the heart of Immortals of Aveum and is divided into three distinct types of magic: Azure Magic for Force, Scarlet Magic for Chaos, and Green Magic for Life. Each type has its own unique functions and gameplay mechanics. Most Magni are skilled in only one color of magic, but rare Triarques can master all three, making them incredibly powerful. Jak himself is a Magnus, capable of wielding these diverse magical abilities to their fullest potential.
But in Immortals of Aveum, battles also hinge on the use of magical gauntlets! There are specialized gauntlets for each color of magic—Azure, Scarlet, and Green—and three different variants within each category. Each variant has its unique spell type, firing rate, damage output, range, and abilities. Generally speaking, these gauntlets align with a specific combat style based on the color of magic they wield:
- Ecarlate Gauntlets: Ideal for close-quarters combat and explosive attacks
- Azure Gauntlets: Spells triggering long-range traits to inflict precise damage
- Green Gauntlets: Fast-firing spells, perfect for mobile combats
Players will discover a wide variety of glove variants within the game, each boasting its own special attributes tailored for different combat styles. These gloves can also be enhanced at the Forge, unlocking exciting new abilities and powers!
