Sony has announced a limited edition PlayStation 5 console themed after Marvel’s Wolverine, continuing its established tradition for major game launches. This special edition will be available in two models: Standard and Pro, both featuring Wolverine-themed designs on the console chassis and DualSense controller. For existing PS5 owners, Sony will also offer themed console covers in metallic gray, inspired by Wolverine’s Adamantium claws. The designs were created by Scottish graphic artist Jock, who is responsible for the game’s main artwork. Marvel’s Wolverine is developed by Insomniac Games and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment exclusively for the PlayStation 5, with no current plans for a PC release. While the narrative is deeply emotional and standalone, it exists within the continuity of Insomniac’s Marvel universe. Players will explore locations such as the Canadian wilderness, Tokyo, and Madripoor, battling enemies like the Reavers under the command of Bolivar Trask. The game’s objective is to uncover details about Wolverine’s forgotten past.
