Pearl Abyss has released a significant update for Crimson Desert, introducing the cross-save feature that allows players to transfer their game progress across PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. Mac users will receive this update at a later date. To utilize cross-save, players must link their Pearl Abyss account to their platform accounts via the game’s save menu. Once linked, game progress, equipment, and adventure data will automatically synchronize across compatible platforms. However, manual backups are recommended before switching devices, as automatic saves are stored independently for each platform. Each Pearl Abyss ID is allotted one cross-save slot, and only one platform account can be linked per ID. Unlinking all platform accounts from a Pearl Abyss ID will permanently delete all cloud cross-save data. Therefore, players planning to unlink should save their data to a local slot beforehand.
