Everstone Studio has announced Imperial Palace, the second major expansion for their game Where Winds Meet. Scheduled for release on May 28th, this expansion promises significant content additions and performance enhancements, particularly for the PlayStation 5 Pro. The expansion, titled Gilded Lament, centers on the Imperial Palace of Kaifeng. This expansive zone, covering one million square meters, is designed as a living, breathing Forbidden City, featuring over 3,000 NPCs with individual routines, movements, and social layers. Gilded Lament introduces a new world boss named Golden Lament. During combat, she recites an unending poem, and her attacks are inspired by a scroll filled with prose. Golden Lament can transform into pure energy, deliver powerful ground-shattering attacks causing area damage, and then reappear.
