The Epic Games Store is offering two free games for PC players: Sunderfolk Standard Edition and The Telltale Batman Shadows Edition. This promotion, running from May 14 to May 21, 2026, allows players to download these titles from the Epic Games virtual store. Sunderfolk is a turn-based tactical role-playing game that supports cooperative play either online or locally. Up to four players can team up, with the option to use smartphones as controllers. Developed by Secret Door and Dreamhaven, studios featuring former Blizzard employees, Sunderfolk was released in 2025 and had already garnered over 1,600 Very Positive reviews on Steam by 2023. The game’s main characters include a raven, bat, deer-like creature, polar bear, weasel, and salamander. A free trial of the first four missions is available even outside the giveaway period. The Telltale Batman Shadows Edition bundles Batman: The Telltale Series (released in 2016 with over 7,600 positive Steam reviews) and Batman: The Enemy Within (released in 2017 with over 4,200 positive reviews and a 94% approval rating), along with two additional DLCs. This edition features a unique comic book-style Shadows Mode and enhanced hand-colored visuals. The Telltale Batman Shadows Edition was initially released on December 17, 2019.
