After months of rumors stemming from a Bandai Namco leak last February, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 is now officially confirmed. An anime-style trailer for the game premiered at Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour on April 19, 2026, announcing its release in 2027 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Steam. Akio Iyoku confirmed that Akira Toriyama played a significant role in developing Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3, shaping its world to reflect his vision of the distant future of the Dragon Ball universe. The Dragon Ball Project: Age 1000 trailer, shown at the event, revealed that Bulma is still alive in this era, featuring a scene where an enigmatic figure receives a call from someone resembling her. The mysterious Dragon Ball Age 1000 project, unveiled at Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour, is Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3. Bandai Namco is producing the game, which will feature Brett, a new character designed by Toriyama.
