Echoes of Aincrad Unveils Deep Character Customization and Intense Combat

Bandai Namco has revealed new gameplay details for Echoes of Aincrad, an RPG set to release on July 10, 2026, for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Players will create their own hero and attempt to conquer the floating castle of Aincrad. Echoes of Aincrad allows players to deeply customize their characters to match their playstyle, influencing gear, weapons, stats, companions, unique abilities, and character growth as the narrative progresses. Survival depends on skillful combat and a well-coordinated companion. Battles utilize a Switch system, enabling players to chain attacks and coordinate partner actions, such as directing the partner to wait for a player attack or split damage. The game features real-time combat and a robust progression system. A new trailer showcases locations, armor, weapons, and team battles, highlighting Echoes of Aincrad’s action RPG elements. Three new videos are available: “Echoes of Aincrad – Official Story Trailer,” “Echoes of Aincrad – Official Announcement Trailer,” and “Echoes of Aincrad Preview.” The Death Game Mode will also return.
