SEGA has officially launched the free Angry Birds crossover content for Sonic Racing: Crossworlds, introducing Red as a playable character in his signature Super Roaster. This update also includes three new Angry Birds songs on the Jukebox. Goro Majima (as Captain Majima) and Arle from Puyo Puyo will be added to Sonic Racing: Crossworlds in future updates. The Angry Birds Festival, which allows players to earn rewards, will run from April 16 at 5 PM PT (8 PM ET) to April 19 at 4:59 PM PT (7:59 PM ET). During the festival, players can win cosmetic items, gadgets, and more. This Angry Birds addition features new emotes and sounds, as well as three songs added to the Jukebox: “Go Theme,” “Go Theme (Final Lap),” and “Angry Birds Theme.” Players with the Standard or Digital Deluxe versions will automatically receive this content. Sonic Racing: Crossworlds is available in physical and digital formats for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch OLED Model, and Nintendo Switch Lite. A special edition of Angry Birds is available for Nintendo Switch for $69.99 USD, both digitally and physically.
