Don’t Like Playing as Kliff? Now Create Your Own Hero in Crimson Desert

PC players of Crimson Desert can now fully replace the default protagonist, Kliff, with custom characters using a new mod, addressing a common request for personalization given the game’s thin narrative and underdeveloped characters. The mod also adjusts most armor sets to fit a female body shape. The Crimson Desert Character Creator mod, available for free on Nexus Mods, leverages the game’s existing barber system to provide expanded customization options. The tool currently offers 98 face presets and 159 hairstyles. While this initial release is limited to female avatars, the creator is planning a male version for the future. According to the mod’s description, new animations are in development to ensure that female characters move naturally and fully replace Kliff. Future updates will add more customization options, including eyebrow shapes, eye colors, eyeliners, non-human character races, female Kliff animations, and icons for hair and face choices. Furthermore, the mod transforms Kliff’s voice to match the new female appearance.

Custom Character Creation for Personalized Experience in Crimson Desert (Requires JSON Mod Manager & Kliff Female Voice)

Created by Khione95, the mod requires the JSON Mod Manager system and the Kliff Female Voice mod to function correctly. Because it alters the game’s barber mechanics, the Crimson Desert Character Creator is incompatible with other mods that affect the same functionality, such as Barber Unlocked. With The Character Creator mod, players can now enjoy a more personalized gaming experience in Crimson Desert.
