Weappy Studio unveiled a new trailer for The Eternal Life of Goldman at the Xbox Partner Preview event, also announcing that a demo is now available for Xbox Series X|S, following its earlier PC release. The game is slated to launch in 2026 on PlayStation 5 and PC (via Steam or the Microsoft Store), and it will be available on Xbox Game Pass from day one. The Eternal Life of Goldman, published by THQ Nordic, features an elderly protagonist named Goldman who journeys to the mystical Arquipelagos to eliminate a being known as the Divinity. The game’s hand-drawn animations and art style are inspired by European folklore and animation from the 1970s through 1990s, revisiting classic platformer gameplay from the 1980s and 1990s. Many reviewers have compared the game’s animation and art style to that of Cuphead. Goldman’s cane serves multiple purposes beyond basic mobility, functioning as a shield and an offensive tool. Players can also equip the cane with gadgets to enhance its capabilities.

A demo for The Eternal Life of Goldman is currently accessible on Xbox Series X|S. A Steam demo was previously released during the first Steam Next Fest. A demo can also be found on the PlayStation Store. However, the release date for the full game across platforms remains unconfirmed. The Eternal Life of Goldman is scheduled to arrive on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and PC in 2026, and may be available on other platforms.
