However, it is worth noting that if the game were Jak 4, it would fall into the sci-fi genre. No specific Sony IP has been officially confirmed for Barlog’s current game, though reports suggest it might be a Metroidvania-style title set in Deimos. Separately, unconfirmed whispers have circulated regarding Cory Barlog’s potential involvement in a sci-fi adventure. There was also buzz about a Star Wars Mandalorian game adaptation, which some speculated could hint at an upcoming project.
