Raw Fury and developer Christoffer Bodegard of Sudden Snail have launched their fantasy CRPG, Esoteric Ebb, on PC today, March 3, 2026. A demo on Steam has earned a 96% positive rating from nearly 400 reviews. Esoteric Ebb combines a questing tree, skill tree, and mind map in one system. Each quest branch can alter your cleric’s playstyle with major in-game feats. Quests are open-ended, offering both low and high-stakes scenarios, with dice rolls shaping the outcomes of events like wrestling dwarves or avoiding embarrassment. In Esoteric Ebb, you play as a cleric in the city of Norvik, tasked with solving the mystery of a teahouse explosion. As you explore this fantastical Arcanepunk world on the brink of its first election – a world inspired by the vinyl era and transformed from tabletop RPG to CRPG – your cleric’s innate magical power allows you to warp reality, opening unique narrative paths. Players will explore Norvik’s dark alleyways, towers, and underground tunnels, making impactful choices and rolling dice against their inner doubts.
