Nightmare Geese emerges in Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves today as a DLC character in Season 2. To mark the occasion, SNK has released both a launch trailer and an animated video by Masami Obari. Obari’s video portrays the tense atmosphere surrounding Geese Howard’s legacy, as Rock Howard, his son, and Terry Bogard confront Geese’s spectral return. The animation revisits Geese’s fall from his tower at the end of Fatal Fury 3, where he refused Terry’s offered hand. First appearing in Real Bout Fatal Fury Special in 1997, Nightmare Geese is the embodiment of the darkest aspects of South Town’s former ruler, returning now in ethereal form with his signature oppressive power. He retains iconic fighting techniques like Reppuu Ken but also utilizes new, aggressive variations. Fatal Fury: City of Wolves, available since April 24, 2025, can be found on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S (Digital/Physical), Steam, and the Epic Games Store (Digital). Season Pass 2 for City of Wolves costs $19.99. Within the game’s EOST Mode RPG, Nightmare Geese roams South Town in a new storyline, unaware of his own death.
