Action-Packed Sci-Fi Adventure Aphelion by DONT NOD Arrives Spring 2026 on Major Platforms and Game Pass Day One

The French studio DONT NOD, known for Life is Strange, has released a gameplay trailer offering a closer look at their upcoming project, Aphelion. This action-packed science fiction adventure, set on the icy fringes of our solar system, follows astronauts Ariane Montclair and Thomas Cross on a European Space Agency mission, aiming for greater realism. After their spacecraft crashes on the unexplored, frozen surface of Persephone, Ariane must locate her injured partner. The five-minute trailer showcases the challenges of navigating this harsh environment using tools such as a grappling hook. The game requires players to avoid deadly hazards and utilize stealth tactics for survival, with no direct combat. Aphelion is scheduled for release in spring 2026 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store.
