Game Freak’s Beast of Reincarnation, an action RPG, was featured at Sony’s State of Play to announce its release date: August 4, 2026. On August 4, 2026, the game will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store. Physical copies will also be available for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can play Beast of Reincarnation on day one. In Beast of Reincarnation, set in the year 4026, players will control Emma and Koo in a world blending traditional Japan with science fiction. The new trailer offers a better look at the combat, highlighting a challenging fight against a plant-like boss, suggesting that precise parrying will be essential. Also showcased at the State of Play event was Control Resonant, though its release date remains unannounced.
