Kojima Productions has officially confirmed that Death Stranding 2: On The Beach will be released on PC on March 19, 2026, and preorders are now open on Steam and the Epic Games Store. This release is part of the studio’s effort to reach a broader audience beyond PlayStation. Kojima Productions has also teased new game modes and features for both PC and PlayStation 5, with details to be revealed at a later event. Players who link their PlayStation account with their PC will gain access to a PlayStation overlay with trophies, friends lists, and profiles, along with exclusive rewards like backpack patches and a PlayStation-inspired outfit. Nixxes Software is developing the PC version with enhanced technology, including support for NVIDIA, AMD, and Intel upscaling technologies, as well as frame generation and uncapped frame rates. Additionally, the game will support Ultrawide 21:9 and Super Ultrawide 32:9 aspect ratios in both gameplay and cutscenes, all running smoothly at 4K resolution. The sequel incorporates upgrades like Sony’s DualSense technology but remains fully compatible with mouse and keyboard. Players can also choose audio options such as Dolby Access or Windows Sonic for a personalized 3D sound experience.
