Silent Hill f, which launched on September 25, 2025, has distributed over 2 million copies globally as of April 22, 2026. The game reached its first million copies on its release day and the second million within seven months. The storyline for Silent Hill f was written by Ryukishi07, with creature and character designs by kera, and music by Akira Yamaoka and Kensuke Inage. The success of these titles has contributed to an overall increase in Silent Hill game sales since the franchise’s inception in 1999. The total number of Silent Hill games sold rose from 14 million in December 2025 to 17.1 million in March 2026, with a notable boost from PlayStation Plus subscriptions. In recognition of the franchise’s commercial success in its revival, Konami is preparing for the upcoming launch of Silent Hill: Townfall, slated for 2026.
