Lyrical Games has announced that Valor Mortis, the ambitious first-person soulslike game developed by One More Level, will be released in autumn 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Lyrical Games revealed the release window during the Triple-I Initiative 2026 event, where they also debuted a new gameplay trailer. The trailer depicts a bleak, alternate 19th-century Europe, with ruined landscapes, infested streets, and grotesque creatures. Published by Lyrical Games, Valor Mortis is an action RPG developed by One More Level that reimagines European history under Napoleon Bonaparte’s oppressive rule. Players take on the role of a resurrected soldier from Napoleon’s army, imbued with supernatural powers. Tasked with investigating a plague consuming the continent, they must confront undead creatures, abominations, and deformed entities. The game blends historical figures with horror elements, European folklore, and steampunk aesthetics. The latest trailer also revealed a new weapon: the rapier.
