Ubisoft has released update 1.1.10 for Assassin’s Creed Shadows, which introduces eagerly awaited features and technical enhancements. Rolling out on April 7th, the patch delivers improved graphics and performance, especially for next-gen consoles, along with new in-game content for the base game. A key addition is the availability of the Bo weapon to all Assassin’s Creed Shadows players; the Claws of Awaji expansion is no longer required to wield it. After obtaining a unique Bo weapon, standard versions will begin appearing throughout the game world, obtainable from defeated enemies, within chests, or through merchants. PlayStation 5 Pro users will experience enhanced graphics quality thanks to added support for PSSR 2.0 technology, enriching the visual details within Japanese locations. Furthermore, the Nintendo Switch 2 now officially supports mouse and keyboard, allowing for more precise character control. The PlayStation 5 Pro also gains support for PS VR2 tech. Update 1.1.10 also addresses a range of gameplay, interface, and ability issues. Key fixes include: Damage and Abilities: Corrected Samurai Yasuke’s Defensive Break Level 3 passive ability to accurately reflect the 150 additional damage inflicted during collisions. Resolved problems affecting Critical Insight, Hidden Onslaught, and Extended Duration enhancements for Tenzutsu Burst. Ensured the 50 damage bonus from the Defensive Breach (Rank 3) enhancement is correctly displayed. Fixed an issue preventing damage bonuses from applying when fighting unarmed. Interface and Stats: Addressed a bug causing progress to stall at 97.89% in the user interface. Removed a restriction that incorrectly limited multiple stat sources to a maximum of 100. Updated the detailed stats screen to accurately display combo finisher damage and clarify attribute limits. Ensured that extra rations acquired in the Claws of Awaji expansion are visible under the ration limit. Gameplay and World: Enemies can now suffer up to five afflictions simultaneously.
