Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. announced on Monday, September 30th, the release of a new PvP mode for Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links: Character Deck Duels. This mode allows players to duel using character decks, designed to provide an accessible PvP experience that reflects each character’s unique gameplay style. Players unlock each Character Deck by obtaining the corresponding character, which automatically completes a one-time mission. These decks come with fixed abilities, and the character cards can be used in both PvP and PvE modes. In Character Deck Duels, players compete for Respect Orbs, which can be exchanged with the Trader for cards and other items. Duelists can also exchange Respect Orbs to increase a character deck’s level, allowing the substitution of up to five cards. Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links has reached 150 million downloads worldwide. To date, players have collected over 65 billion cards and participated in nearly 6 billion duels.
