DC Studios has released a new teaser for Supergirl, ahead of the full trailer release scheduled for March 31, 2026. This follows a brief Super Bowl teaser in early February that featured Krypto. The new teaser highlights Superman’s presence in the film, which continues the story of the DC superfamily within the new universe that James Gunn and Peter Safran are creating for theaters and HBO Max. Supergirl, set to release in late June, will introduce several new characters, including Lobo. Jason Momoa plays Lobo, making his debut as an antihero in the DCU, and recent photos show him riding his signature motorcycle in the film. Milly Alcock portrays the new Supergirl, Kara Zor-El, in a role inspired by one of DC Comics’ best miniseries in recent years. The film’s motto, “Truth. Justice. I Don’t Care,” suggests a more rebellious tone for the character. According to Gunn, a 30-second sneak peek offers a glimpse into Kara Zor-El’s world and her connection with David Corenswet’s Superman. Corenswet appears as Superman, who has left a video message for Kara Zor-El. While Superman’s appearances appear limited, the full trailer may offer more insight into Corenswet’s role.
