Project Chameleon, an indie game inspired by Hideo Kojima’s Metal Gear series, is now available on Steam. The game was highlighted at Ctrl Alt Jam and developed by Anonymous King, who also won Ctrl Alt Jam 2 in 2023. In Project Chameleon, players take on the role of Siren, a spy working for an agency that combats terrorism and conspiracies. After Siren’s mentor, Viper, dies, she inherits his chameleon suit, a high-tech device capable of generating advanced holograms. Siren must use the suit to “transform into objects to go unnoticed by enemies while carrying out stealth missions around the world,” “manipulate scene objects, set traps, and use gadgets like a true spy,” and “blend into the environment to remain invisible.” The game features over 80 levels divided into chapters, each with unique scenarios, enemies, and mechanics, as players travel the world facing challenging missions. Project Chameleon is available for R $9.59 on Steam, where, starting January 1, 2024, the application will only function on Windows 10 and newer versions. The game can also be purchased on Amazon or Green Man Gaming.
