Starfield Arrives on PlayStation 5 in April with DualSense Features and Graphical Optimizations

Bethesda Softworks officially announced on April 7th that Starfield is coming to PlayStation 5. The release of the space RPG on Sony’s console will coincide with the launch of Free Lanes, the game’s largest free update to date, and Terran Armada, a new narrative expansion. The PlayStation 5 version of Starfield is specifically designed to utilize the console’s unique features, including the DualSense controller’s adaptive triggers, light bar, touchpad, and speaker, to create a more immersive experience. The DualSense controller’s tactile feedback and adaptive triggers will respond dynamically to different ship weapons and equipment. In addition to these features, Starfield will include native optimizations for the PlayStation 5 Pro, allowing players to choose between a Visual mode that offers 4K resolution at 30 frames per second, and a Performance mode that enhances visual performance at a steady 60 frames per second.
