Street Fighter 6: Now You Can Play as Alex, the 3rd DLC Character of Season Pass 3

Capcom has released Alex, the iconic wrestler from Street Fighter 3, as the third DLC character for Season Pass 3 of Street Fighter 6. Alex brings his signature moves, including devastating grapples, throws, and kicks, alongside a new Prowler Stance that expands his combo options. He is available in World Tour and Battle Hub, and also receives dedicated updates to Fighting Ground. Players who own the Year 3 Character Pass or Ultimate Pass will automatically have access to Alex. Alternatively, Alex can be purchased individually using Fighter Coins. The update also includes two character themes for Alex, including one by JAM Project, and over ten throws. The Fighting Ground now features: Alex’s character guide and combo trials Alex’s arcade story A “Yes/No” prompt when selecting “Save Training Settings” A command list for Alex New player titles for Alex Realtime commentary for Alex New avatar poses in Alex’s Fighter Profile Club uniforms and emblems for Alex A screen for Alex in Battle Settings for the Capcom Fighting Hyakunin Isshu challenge.

The Mega Man Star Force Battle Network collaboration is live in Battle Hub, featuring collaboration items such as player titles, avatar gear, stickers, and camera frames, which can be claimed from the News menu. A special Street Voter event is also coming soon to Battle Hub, and JAM Project commemorative items are now available. The SimSim Stickers include new Alex challenges. The Music Player has been updated with “BGM: Go Alex Hope is Born” and “Alex’s Theme.” The Hub Goods Shop UI features a category tab and a new list view for improved searchability. Outfit 4 costumes for Dee Jay and Elena are available in the Goods Shop. A special sale celebrates Capcom Cup 12 and the Street Fighter League: World Championship 2025. The update addresses an issue that penalized players during online matchmaking due to disconnects or forced app shutdowns during the challenger screen, and corrects the unintentional coloring of Chun-Li’s Capcom Fighting Hyakunin Isshu challenger screen. Custom settings disabled in local tournament mode will now be displayed as hyphens.

Alongside the addition of Alex, this update delivers significant balance adjustments affecting all characters and systems, including improvements to Drive Rush mechanics, overhead attacks, and input responsiveness. Dee Jay and Elena also receive their Outfit 4 DLC. The Mega Man Battle Network Star Force x Street Fighter 6 collaboration has been added. In Alex’s arcade mode ending, he shares a moment with his partner, Priscilla, and feels the movement of their unborn child. In addition to Alex, Dee Jay and Elena’s beach outfits are available, along with avatar equipment related to JAM Project.
