PlayStation Plus to Lose These Games in April

Sony recently updated the “Last Chance to Play” section on the PlayStation 5 interface, revealing upcoming departures from the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium catalogs. In April 2026, Persona 5 Royal and Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 will leave the service. The April departures also include EA Sports PGA Tour and Lost Records: Bloom & Rage, making for an unusually small list of games being removed. Lost Records: Bloom & Rage features a narrative spanning two timelines (1995 and 2022) and a dreamscape style reminiscent of Life is Strange. Episodes Tape 1 and Tape 2 will be removed from PlayStation Plus. All of these games will be available until Tuesday, April 21, 2026. On that date, the titles will be removed from the service, coinciding with the addition of a new batch of games to the catalog. Meanwhile, March’s free games in Essential remain available. Subscribers have until April 6 to add PGA Tour 2K25, Slime Rancher 2, Monster Hunter Rise, and The Elder Scrolls Online: Gold Road to their accounts.

Sony is expected to announce the newcomers to the Extra and Premium catalogs for April in mid-March, and may add more titles to the “Last Chance to Play” list in the coming weeks.
