Brazilian Studio Arvore Unveils New Trailer for The Boys: Trigger Warning, Based on the Series

On March 11, Brazilian studio ARVORE released the new trailer for The Boys: Trigger Warning, a VR game set in the universe of the Amazon Prime Video series. The game launches on March 26 for Meta Quest 3, with a PlayStation VR2 release coming soon. Users can now preorder the game on the Horizon Store for Quest at $24 and add it to their wishlists on the PlayStation Store for PS VR2, according to Estacao Nerd. The Boys: Trigger Warning puts players in the role of Lucas Costa, a Vought employee whose life is upended when a family outing is thrown into chaos by the Armstrongs—a group of once-powerful superheroes. After being saved and granted powers, Lucas joins an underground fight against Vought and its supes. Thanks to regular doses of Temp V, players can choose between stealth and full-chaos approaches to missions, wielding telekinesis and other superpowers.

The game features actors from the Amazon series reprising their roles, including Laz Alonso as Mothers Milk, Jensen Ackles as Soldier Boy, Colby Minifie as Ashley Barrett, and P.J. Byrne as Adam Bourke. The game also features a distorted portrayal of Soldier Boy, exclusive to the game. Trigger Warning combines interactive narrative, stealth, physical combat, acidic humor, and violent scenes to leverage the immersive capabilities of VR. Developed by ARVORE in collaboration with The Boys series creators and Sony Pictures Entertainment, Trigger Warning integrates virtual reality language into the story’s dramatic structure. Players will experience the story in first-person VR, uncovering disturbing secrets about a decaying family of superheroes. Seeking answers and revenge, Lucas teams up with The Boys, embarking on a journey filled with infiltrations, unstable powers, and grotesque encounters.
