During the Smurfs event, players can unlock Smurf characters as new skins, including Papa Smurf, Smurfette, Blossom, and Wild Smurf, and a special Smurfs-themed stage will be available. Players can acquire special items through the Smurfs Event Pass or the Red Star Ring Shop. The premium tab of the Event Pass includes the Papa Smurf skin and Cake buddy items. Alongside the Smurfs event, Sonic Rumble is relaunching as Sonic Rumble Party, featuring a new Party Rumble game mode with over 30 minigames for up to eight players.
