IO Interactive envisions 007 First Light as an origin story where Bond and Moneypenny meet earlier in their careers. Their chemistry is apparent, but they are still in the process of figuring each other out. Q also has a more significant role, helping to shape Bond’s style and instincts. In the “Beyond the Light” episode, Emborg discusses building characters around Bond, focusing on James Bond’s mentor, John Greenway, played by Lennie James.
