The Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket has been updated with the new Wonders of Paldea expansion. Players can now launch the Pokémon TCG Pocket app on iOS and Android to open Wonders of Paldea booster packs. The expansion features 131 new cards, including 93 standard cards and 38 special full-art and foil cards. The update also introduces new card rarities: OneDiamond, TwoDiamond, ThreeDiamond, FourDiamond, and Shiny Rarity (worth one diamond), as well as TwoShiny Rarity and Gold Crown Rarity. The Wonders of Paldea expansion brings powerful Ultra Rare cards to the game, such as the Electric Generator, which can significantly enhance Electric-type decks. This card allows players to add one Electric energy to one of their benched Pokémon if a coin flip results in heads. Another Ultra Rare card, Baxcalibur, has 140 HP and can deal 90 damage with its Buster Tail attack, which requires three Water energy. Its Ice Maker ability allows players to transfer one energy from the energy zone to the active Pokémon. Wonders of Paldea is the eighth themed booster pack and the 17th set in the game. The expansion also adds five new EX cards, as well as shiny versions of previously released EX cards.
