The marketing campaign for Crimson Desert continues with a behind-the-scenes look at the game’s dubbing and character creation. The video features actors Alec Newman (Kliff), Stewart Scudamore (Oongka), and Rebecca Hanssen (Damiane) discussing their roles and how they brought their characters to life. Newman portrays Kliff as a character defined by a strong moral compass. Scudamore describes Oongka as transcending the typical orc stereotype, revealing a philosophical side. Hanssen characterizes Damiane as a fearless and determined warrior. Newman explains that Kliff’s voice evolved organically during recording sessions, especially during intense combat scenes. Scudamore emphasizes that even Oongka’s grunts and interjections carry meaning, while Hanssen portrays Damiane as a warrior grounded in her convictions, with inner strength evident in every line. Crimson Desert, an open-world action-adventure game set on the continent of Pywel, is scheduled to release on March 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC (via Steam and the Epic Games Store), and the Mac App Store. Players will step into the role of Greymane Kliff as he seeks to recover stolen property, explore uncharted territories, confront threats, and discover the world’s lore.
