Kojima Productions, in collaboration with Nixxes from PlayStation Studios, has revealed the official PC system requirements for Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, scheduled for release on March 19, 2026. Players can now see if their rigs are ready for the new adventure. All configurations require a base of 16 GB RAM, 150 GB of SSD space, and either Windows 10 or 11 (version 1909 or later). The minimum, medium, high, and very high settings are as follows: Minimum Requirements (1080p, 30 FPS, Low Settings): Intel Core i3-10100 or AMD Ryzen 3 3100 CPU, 16GB RAM, and either an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 or an AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT graphics card. Medium Requirements (1080p, 60 FPS, Medium Settings): Intel Core i5-11400 or AMD Ryzen 5 5600 CPU, 16GB RAM, and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 or an AMD Radeon RX 6600 GPU. High Recommended Requirements (1440p, 60 FPS, High Settings): Intel Core i7-11700 or AMD Ryzen 7 5700X CPU, 16GB RAM, and either an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 or an AMD Radeon RX 6800 GPU.

Very High Requirements (4K, 60 FPS, Ultra Settings): Intel Core i7-11700 or AMD Ryzen 7 5700X CPU, 16GB RAM, and either an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 or an AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT graphics card. Death Stranding 2 on PC will feature uncapped frame rates and DualSense controller support. The game is also compatible with ultrawide monitors, supporting 21:9 and 32:9 aspect ratios. Players with standard 16:9 displays can simulate a cinematic experience by selecting the 21:9 aspect ratio, which adds black bars to the top and bottom of the screen. Native antialiasing options are also available, alongside support for NVIDIA DLSS 4, AMD FSR 4, and Intel XeSS 2 upscaling technologies to help achieve higher performance, especially at greater resolutions. Furthermore, players returning from the PS5 version, or those who connect their PlayStation account to the PC version, will receive bonus in-game rewards, such as the Porter Suit. This reward will also be available for PS5 when the PC version launches.

Death Stranding 2’s Portable Graphics Optimization for Handheld Devices and NVIDIA DLSS 4 Details

Nixxes has created a “Portable” graphics preset designed to optimize performance on handheld gaming devices like the Steam Deck and ASUS ROG Ally.
