Tribute Games, the studio behind Marvel Cosmic Invasion and TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge, has released the first public demo of its new adventure brawling game, Scott Pilgrim EX, today on Steam for PC. Players can dive into the game’s opening chapters, either solo or in co-op mode with up to four friends. The Canadian studio’s demo will also be featured in the upcoming Steam Vem Ai event, running from February 23 to March 2. Scott Pilgrim EX is a new pixel art action-adventure brawler where players battle across dimensions, through time, and on the streets of a Toronto overrun by three gangs: the Vegans, the Robots, and the Demons. In this latest Scott Pilgrim adventure, mysterious figures kidnap the protagonist’s bandmates. Players can team up with up to three friends locally or online to rescue them. The Steam demo of Scott Pilgrim EX has earned praise for its complex gameplay, high production quality, and optimization. It allows players to experience a quirky version of Toronto while playing the first two missions, and features four playable characters: Scott Pilgrim, Ramona Flowers, Lucas Lee, and Roxy Richter. The full game will include seven playable characters, each with unique traits and abilities.
