The 2026 BAFTAs will take place this Sunday (22) at 4 PM Brasilia time. This awards ceremony, often called the British Oscars, celebrates the best in international cinema and includes Brazilian representation in several key categories. Alan Cumming will host the event, which will be held at the Sapucaí Center in São Paulo. Brazilian films have garnered several nominations. Kleber Mendonça Filho’s The Secret Agent is nominated for Best Film Not in the English Language and Best Original Screenplay.
