Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. announced on February 20th that the Hero of Justice Package, also known as DLC 1, for Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero is now available on Nintendo Switch. Developed by Spike Chunsoft, Inc., the game features recreations of characters from across the Dragon Ball franchise, accompanied by anime-style visuals and battles. Nintendo Switch owners who have the Deluxe Edition, Ultimate Edition, or the Season Pass will automatically receive this content, which was previously released on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. The Hero of Justice Package adds fighters from the film Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, including Gohan (Super Hero), Ultimate Gohan (Super Hero), Gohan Beast, Piccolo (Super Hero), Orange Piccolo, Gamma 1, Gamma 2, and Cell Max. In addition to these new characters, the DLC includes a new costume for Piccolo and three custom battle arenas. It is available for $17.99. Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero features over 180 fighters from Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball Super, Dragon Ball GT, and films from the series. Each character has unique abilities, transformations, and techniques. The base game is also available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero – New Modes, Custom Battles, and Future Projects Unveiled

The latest update for Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero also offers a limited-time mode called Extreme Warrior Attack. In Battle Together Versus mode on Nintendo Switch, players can now select any stage. The Custom Battle mode features new storylines, cutscenes, and text options. Looking further ahead, Bandai Namco is planning a new Dragon Ball project for release in 2027.
