Quantic Dream continues to release updates regarding Spellcasters Chronicles. PlayersForLife recently revealed that a second closed beta will begin on January 29, with early access scheduled for February 26, 2026. This follows a public test in December, and the second beta will refine the player experience based on user feedback. Alongside this announcement, Quantic Dream released a video showcasing Ozdam Devam, a non-playable character who serves as the “Ashkenon chronicler.” As the game world’s living memory, Ozdam Devam blends the roles of historian and observer, documenting the rise and fall of empires without direct involvement, primarily narrating events and connecting players to the universe. Closed Beta 2 will introduce the Nordic Shore, a new five-way arena featuring challenging environmental conditions. An improved game introduction with clearer presentation and playable tutorials will help new players. The update also includes team chat and a reporting system, improving the online experience, as well as customization options for spellcasters and lifestones, a ranked mode, and additional customization options.

Spellcasters Chronicles: Closed Beta 2 – New Units, Summons, Buildings, & Improvements

The update will introduce six new unit types, including Rain of Fire and Resurrection or Sacrifice, as well as five new summons, such as the Lich and Stone Behemoth. Players can also utilize three new buildings, including the Ballista and Bastion, and new combat items.
