Resident Evil Showcase Unveils New Gameplay for Requiem on January 15, 2026

Following a substantial spotlight at the 2025 Game Awards, where Leon Kennedy’s presence was officially confirmed, Resident Evil Requiem will soon be featured in a new Capcom showcase leading up to Microsoft’s Developer Direct on January 22. Capcom announced that the Resident Evil Showcase will be held on January 15, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. Pacific Time (5:00 p.m. Eastern Time, or January 16 at 7:00 JST). The showcase, which will run for approximately 12 minutes, will feature fresh gameplay and updates for Resident Evil Requiem, starring Grace Ashcroft and Leon S. Kennedy. Viewers can tune in live on YouTube (English and Japanese channels), Twitch, and Steam. According to the teaser, the showcase will focus on Leon, with insights from the game’s director, Koshi Nakanishi. Capcom USA will host a discussion on their YouTube channel with special guests from Twitch after the showcase; a Resident Evil 4 Collector’s Edition will be given away, though no new information about the game will be shared.

Resident Evil Requiem is scheduled to launch on February 27, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, and PC via Steam.
