Pocketpair, in collaboration with Bushiroad, will release the official Palworld card game on July 30, 2026. The Palworld Official Card Game is designed as a two-player competitive experience, retaining the core mechanics that made the original video game a success when it launched in 2024. Players deploy Pals with unique attributes in carefully planned combat to gather resources and construct bases. The official website states that the objective is to cooperate with Pals to defeat enemies and gain advantages. At launch, booster packs and trial decks will be available. Lamball, the neutral-element sheep Pal, is confirmed to appear as a card. Bushiroad has released a teaser trailer. The game will be showcased as a promotional event at the Card Game Festival at Tokyo Big Sight on May 3–4, 2026. Prior to the official announcement, Takaaki Kidani, CEO and president of Bushiroad Corporation, sold his shares to Pocketpair, a move that fueled speculation about a potential Palworld trading card game.
