Dragami Games has announced Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP for the Nintendo Switch 2, arriving on March 26, 2026, in Japan, for 7,590 yen. Players who already own Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP on the original Nintendo Switch can upgrade to the Nintendo Switch 2 edition for 1,100 yen (approximately 7 euros or dollars). The Nintendo Switch 2 edition boasts impressive graphical improvements over its predecessor, delivering stable 60fps performance in both handheld and docked modes. While initially slated for November 2025, the release has been moved to early 2026 to accommodate physical editions in multiple regions. A brand-new Gun Shooting Mode, exclusive to the Nintendo Switch 2, unlocks after completing RePOP Mode or Original Mode. This mode challenges players to fend off zombie waves and offers the option to use Juliet’s Chainsaw Blaster as a fixed turret. Furthermore, the Nintendo Switch 2 version provides enhanced control options with optional Joy-Con 2 controller support for mouse-style aiming. The release outside of Japan is scheduled for early 2026, with both digital and physical editions available.
